I'm glad we connect, let me share a little bit about me

My name is Magali and I'm French. I've been in Dallas for 8 years now and I love it! In 2017, I left my job and decided to jump into an entrepreneurial career in Real Estate capitalizing on my engineering and business background, network and personal character to take my life to the next level.

I was born and raised in Marseille, France and did all my aerospace engineering studies in France. I joined SAFRAN (a French multinational aircraft engine, defense, and security publicly traded company) in 2007. I led several challenging executive roles in France, Australia, Canada and in the US working on aircraft components and engines design.

I decided in 2012 to sit down for an executive MBA at SMU. 1 month after getting selected for the program I was expecting my first child. Maxime is born during the 2nd year and attended a well deserved graduation. For 2 years, I was working full-time, studying part-time for my MBA and nursing a little boy. While being a new mom and under pressure, I was able to graduate in the top 10 of the class with Honors.

I left the Corporate world in 2017 to start a career into Real Estate. I didn't know much about that industry, didn't had a lot of contacts neither the experience to credentialize myself easily. I didn't want to be an agent nor a broker. I wanted to be an investor! I faced a lot of challenges and setbacks but I fought and I fought hard.

After 1 year of hard hustle, submitting a lot of LOIs, I was finally able to get my 1st property under contract. We bought a portfolio of 340 units (multi-family apartments) in Q4 2018. We raised the equity and successfully closed early 2019. This was a major milestone for me.
I'm now working on my next deal and would love to tell you more about it.

LOI was accepted on my 35th birthday! 340 units in Fort Worth, a portfolio of 2 multi-family apartment complexes for $25M. Now all my efforts and hard work is paying off. Big milestone

1st Property closed

Successfully raised the equity through syndication and closed on the deal. Created investor package and conducted investor presentations / webinars to walk through financials, business plan and returns vs. risks. Now this is real!
